Mini Marathon 2025
This month, more than 100 of our children and community members came together in Bulawayo for our annual Mini Marathon — a joyful tradition where our community runs in solidarity with the incredible runners representing Zara’s Center in the New York City Marathon.

The energy was electric as our kids, families, and neighbors gathered to celebrate health, community, and connection. For many of our young runners, it was their first race, and the pride on their faces as they crossed the finish line said it all.
Our Mini Marathon is a reminder that even though we are thousands of miles away, we are one team — united through movement, purpose, and the belief that every child deserves a bright future.
